Falk: Tottenham are interested in signing Sane for free, and their interest is stronger than that of Chelsea and Arsenal[KUI]

Sane has rejected Bayern's contract renewal offer. Despite negotiations between Bayern Munich and Sane's agent, there has been no progress so far. According to Bild, another London team, Chelsea, has also joined the competition for Sane.

Bayern Munich is attempting to adjust the contract renewal terms: raising the fixed annual salary from 10 million euros (8.3 million pounds) to 12 -13 million euros (10-10.8 million pounds), while reducing the bonus ratio. But Sane might choose to join a London team in order to settle down nearby with his family.

Journalist Falk revealed that Tottenham's interest in Sane is more "substantial" than that of the other two London teams. Sane's agent, Zahavi, has a close relationship with Tottenham's chairman Levy and is trying to secure better terms for his client.

Tottenham Hotspur loaned Ter from Bayern Munich in January this year and have not yet decided whether to buy him out. If Tottenham successfully sign Sane, they are likely to abandon their plan to permanently bring in Ter.

Since joining Bayern from Manchester City in 2020, Sane has scored 61 goals and provided 55 assists in all competitions. This season, he has contributed 13 goals and 5 assists. For Bayern, losing such a top player for free would be a major blow, but it's also unrealistic to write a blank check for a contract renewal.

All three London teams will be able to offer Champions League spots next season, which may prompt Sane to return to the Premier League. Despite Tottenham's poor performance in the league last season (finishing 17th), they eventually defeated Manchester United to win the Europa League title, bringing the season to a perfect close.

Although the possibility of Sane staying with the team has not been completely ruled out, the option of joining the Premier League is clearly more attractive to him.
